Powerstock is a lifestyle brand representing responsible, conscious and cool eco-friendly people.

Our aim is to sensitize youth culture to the demands of the environmental crisis caused by climate change and to create a global brand that represents a proactive way of meeting the challenges of climate change.

The environmental emergency, today, demands the use of new channels of communication to increase the awareness in youth culture of the nature of the challenge that lies ahead.

Powerstock is in no way a ‘protest initiative’ but rather a solution-seeking experience that wishes to contribute towards an understanding of today’s most pressing socio-economic issues.

Powerstock represents a realistic approach to contemporary living.

Powerstock Festival has been the first communication initiave of the Powerstock Project under the Patronage of UNESCO: it has been the first electronic music festival dedicated to sustainable development – a music event entirely powered by renewable energy that took place in his first edition in Italy during the summer 2007 and set in the suggestive location of the wind farm of Albanella (Salerno, near Naples).

The semantics of the logo, the meaning of the brand and the choice to hold Powerstock Festival in the suggestive location of the wind-farms gave this project the right edge to address climate change in a way that genuinely appeals to youth culture. The music festival has been the first stage of a comprehensive communication initiative called the Powerstock Project.

As recognized by UNESCO’s Italian National Commission, Powerstock Festival is part of the UN’s Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and “contributes to spread its principles and realize its objectives” and aims to become a globally itinerant event that captures the popular imagination so as to render eco-friendly lifestyle modern, sexy and more appealing.
The organizers are currently working for the next edition, searching for a new suitable wind farms all around the globe.

The project grew up in the last two years with the Powerstock Stores (eco-friendly stores), some clubbing-oriented initiatives (Powerstock Nights & various sponsorships) and our probably most ambitious project: Powerstock Apparel, an eco-fashion apparel division worldwide distributed..
